Admission Checklist

After you complete our military-connected student admission checklist, you will be set to start classes.

1:申请St. 云州 University

在线申请 or receive an application by mail, call (877) 654-SCSU. For an email application, make a request by emailing scsu4u@dctdsj.com.

2:成绩单

Request your official transcripts for previous college level coursework, including military training. 我们的 注册商 will evaluate it for transfer credit. To request your military transcript (Army, Navy, Marine Corps., Coast Guard) visit Joint Service Transcript. 参观 community college of the air force for this transcript.

3: Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA)

Even if you are using education 好处 from military service, you should seek additional financial aid through FAFSA.

• 完成一个 FAFSA application for student financial aid. Financial aid is initially based off of your previous year’s earnings. If this doesn’t reflect your income at the time you will be taking classes, submit an appeal.
• 的 Financial Aid Office is in Administrative Services, Room 106. 

4: Education Benefits

If you are a military-connected student you may be eligible for multiple military education 好处.

• 请求会面 with the central regional coordinator for MDVA to help you underst和 what benefit(s) you are eligible for.
• Possible 好处 include 退伍军人权利法》®, Minnesota 退伍军人权利法》®, Federal Tuition Assistance 和 State Tuition Reimbursement.

5: Register For Classes

At 哈士奇建议 & 登记, you will:

• Register for classes (Go to : 电子商务)
  • After you have completed registering for the semester, complete the SCSU 退伍军人 Enrollment Certification.  If you add or drop any courses after completing this online certification, please contact the VA Certifying Official 和 inform us of courses you have added or dropped for the semester.
• Have access to advising services 和 resources

• Get prepared for college success
